This movie popped up as suggested after watching The House on Haunted Hill, so I watched it. It is really three separate films in which the same actress Karen Black plays three different women.
The first story is about a shy teacher who is being blackmailed by one of her students. Only…..she really has been using him and poisons him when she gets bored. She then puts him in his darkroom and sets it on fire. According to her scrapbook she is a serial killer who woos college boys until she is bored then kills them and makes it look like an accident.
Story two is about a woman who has a troubled sister. Nobody likes her sister so she decides she is going to get rid of her…..but her sister turns out to be her other personality and she kills herself.
The last story is about a woman who bought her archaeologist boyfriend a South American warrior doll, said to have a murderous warrior spirit in it. The spirit gets loose, tries to kill her, and ends up possessing her just as her boyfriend shows up.
I found the stories engaging. They were just the right length, Karen did an amazing job as all three women, and the script was fantastic.
I highly recommend.
