What do ghosts do when they are about to be evicted from their castle (or rather moved from Ireland to sunny California and turned into an amusement park)? Start showing themselves of course! Peter O’Toole is about to lose the family castle so he decides to market it as haunted and lure tourists in. The tourists come, but aren’t falling for any of the pretend haunting tricks the castle staff play. So….the ghosts decide to take matters into their own hands.

Aside from Peter O’Toole, the cast also includes Daryl Hannah, Steve Gutenberg, Jennifer Tilley, Peter Gallagher, and Martin Ferrero among others. The script is well written and definitely keeps the laughter coming. The picture isn’t cinematic gold, but it is a heart warming tale about redemption, change, and true love.

I will definitely watch it again.
