I know that this is an unpopular opinion, but I didn’t like Alien. It was slow, boring, and utterly predictable. The acting was…….meh. Don’t get me wrong Sigourney Weaver does an amazing job as Ripley, but everyone else gave unremarkable performances.

From the moment we first see the scientist, he is highly suspect. Then for him to turn out to be an android….shocker (only not really). The idea of the story is a good one. And it was very suspenseful. I just didn’t overly enjoy it. I’ll probably watch it again thought. If for nothing else, to see what I missed the first time.

Ripley should not have made it through that movie alive. And what’s with the dang cat?
