So Much to Update

Oh geez….I got way caught up with life. Here’s what’s been going on:

I got really sick after I got back home from Africa. I went to see my sister for Memorial Day and had a blast. Then I went again in July for Independence Day. I really miss her when we are apart.

Polaris and I continued to text every day and face chat as often as we could. I spend every day pleased with my decision to marry Polaris. Do we have communication challenges? Sure, but we always manage to talk them out. So we talked and talked and counted down the days until we could see each other again. We also submitted immigration paperwork, fingers crossed it goes through soon.

Back to my next trip to see my love. I just got back from two weeks in Africa. It was flipping hot! I was sick for the first few days, but I got better and we had a blast. It was also wonderful to spend some time with the family. Polaris’ family is not like mine. Although in some cases they are. My SIL and my sister are a lot alike. Both are amazing mothers and wonderful women. Papa is also a lot Pops (my dad). They even dress similarly.

I love how well Polaris and I were able to connect and grow together. I’m excited for the days when we can be together all the time, but until then we will continue talking, and laughing, and being there for each other. I already have my next trip planned. With any luck, my Polaris will get to come back home with me.
