I don’t have a lot to say here. The basic formula for these movies is the same. Rescue, conflict, check out the situation, moral conflict, rescue, celebrate….all with men who are nice to look at, lots of shooting, death, explosions, a tiny romantic element, and swearing.

The first one has a great story line. And the third one is filler garbage (in my opinion)….but it does have the added bonus of Wesley Snipes….good choice! The second one…while it isn’t anything amazing, it does have a large cast of action stars from the 80s and 90s including Chuck Freaking Norris. It also has funny one liners that take you back to those 80s and 90s flicks like:

• Arnold Schwarzenegger saying “I’ll be back”

• Someone telling Arnold “I’m going to terminate you”

• Arnold saying to Sylvester Stallone something like “all we need now is Rambo”

All in all, I will watch then again, because they are great flicks for when you need something mindless to watch.
